Colton Reid is excited to begin his new role as the Executive Assistant/Client Relations Coordinator for The Davenport Group. Bringing a wealth of experience, with over $463 million in sales, Colton is eager to see where this new chapter takes him. His passion for innovation, strategic growth, and building lasting relationships drives his success.
In his previous role as the Director of Marketing for the Giles Group in Austin, Texas, Colton played a pivotal role in elevating the team to the #1 position across Texas for Douglas Elliman Real Estate, achieving over $86 million in sales in a single year through cutting-edge marketing strategies and a dedication to client satisfaction. Before the Giles Group, he served as the Director of Operations/Executive Assistant for Bridget Ramey at Kuper Sotheby’s International Realty, contributing to over $350 million in sales in 2.5 years.
Throughout his career, Colton has successfully worked with a wide range of clients, including celebrities and CEOs, prioritizing open communication and support through their significant life changes. He aims to create lifelong relationships, ensuring clients feel valued and supported beyond the transaction.
Prior to his real estate career, Colton earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Southern Mississippi and a master’s degree in integrated marketing communications from the University of Mississippi. He also served as the Senator for his graduate cohort for a two-year tenure, allowing him to be heavily involved in representing student interests, advocating for academic and administrative improvements, and fostering a supportive community within the program at Ole Miss. With deep roots in the South, Colton understands the importance of a tight-knit community and the love one has for their home.
During his occasional downtime, Colton competes on the American quarter horse circuit, showing nationally and breeding champion-level prospects. He and his partner also have two incredible “fur-babies” together, Zoey and Moby.
