Sterling

Sterling is a census-designated place located in Loudoun County, Virginia. It is located northwest of Herndon and approximately 26 miles from Washington D.C. Sterling is home to a diverse community of residents and is known for its family-friendly neighborhoods, great schools, and excellent shopping and dining options. The community offers a mix of housing options, including single-family homes, townhomes, and condominiums. Many of the homes in Sterling were built in the 1980s and 1990s and have since been updated and renovated. The area is also known for its excellent parks and recreational facilities, including the Algonkian Regional Park, which offers a wide range of outdoor activities, including golf, hiking, and fishing. Sterling is also home to the Loudoun County campus of Northern Virginia Community College and the Loudoun County Public Schools.
