Lara serves as the Operations Manager for TDG. Lara grew up in the small town of Hanover, Pennsylvania (you may have had a few potato chips or pretzels from there) and has lived in the DMV area since 2008. She now lives in Arlington with her incredible husband and many, many house plants.
She studied Musical Theatre at the Catholic University of America here in DC and has been performing professionally as a member of the Actors’ Equity Association for over 10 years. Lara’s performing career has allowed her to share her talents on many DC area stages such as Ford’s Theatre, Arena Stage, Signature Theatre, Olney Theatre Center, and more. She also was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work for two years with Disney Cruise Line on the Disney Wonder and Disney Dream playing around with some of your favorite princesses, villains, and flying British nanny.
Lara’s passion for connecting with people, her disciplined drive, creative side, and ability to handle things under pressure is what drew her to the Real Estate world. She is excited to learn more every day, bring her strengths to The Davenport Group team, and take on her new “role” in this show that we call life.
Some of Lara’s favorite things include Ru Paul’s Drag Race, anything Bravo TV, Disney, Trader Joe’s, dogs, macaroni and cheese, mid-century modern, and whiskey. Yes, she’s a mixed bag of fun. Favorite places she’s visited or lived in are Toronto, Copenhagen, Cinque Terre, Florence, and Key West. Nothing beats enjoying the most beautiful things in life: good food, awesome music, amazing travel, the best of friends, and forever family.
