As a lifelong Virginian, Sarah has always been passionate about the people and places that make our state the best place to live in the country. Having grown up among the beauty of the Blue Ridge mountains in southwest Virginia, Sarah found herself in the infectious buzz of Northern Virginia where she attended Marymount University to study fashion design – a decision that would later prove indispensable in a real estate career.

The dynamism of Northern Virginia, from its top-rated restaurants and bars to its proximity to Washington, D.C., has made it among the most attractive places to live, work, and raise a family in the country. Sarah joined The Davenport Group at TTR Sotheby’s to make owning a home in Northern Virginia a reality for other families. She lives in the beautiful Chesterbrook area of McLean, enjoying the many running and hiking trails, parks, and tennis courts, and is a proud mother of a son who attends Chesterbrook Elementary.

Sarah loves working with clients to find the perfect home, knowing that she’s helping to make their dreams a reality. Buying and selling homes requires the same attention to detail that is needed in the fashion sector – service to clients and a creative eye. And above all, style and service. Sarah holds VA and D.C. real estate licenses.

My partner and I were referred to The Davenport Group by a friend who bought a house through them a few years ago. We reached out to Blake and it was our absolute pleasure to be assigned to Marie. This was our first house, we had a strict budget, and were very picky. She took a lot of time explaining the market, how to be competitiv, and all of the things we needed to know about how offers work. It took us about 3 months to find our place and Marie was extremely patient while we figured out exactly what we wanted. The entire realtor group was very dependable and attentive. When we wanted to see a house outside of Marie's availability (this didnt happen frequently, she made a point to be available whenever we needed no matter how spontaneously we called her), another realtor would show and ask about our needs and advise us like we were theyre clients. Marie always looked at any potential house through our eyes, pointing out any problems or points of notice that we might have missed. She showed up with the same enthusiasm for each house and offer we wanted to put down. She patiently repeated steps in the process that wed forget along the way. She felt like a friend in the whole process and made a point to always adjust to our needs while being genuinely herself. The realtor group felt very supportive throughout and continue to check in and give us little perks now that we'v bought the house. These are just great people to know and we recommend them as realtors wholeheartedly!!!
