My wife and I worked with Joe Gunerman and the Davenport Group of TTR Sotheby’s to buy our single family home in Arlington, VA. As first time homebuyers, we were intimidated by the process. Joe’s expertise, calming presence, and ability to make decisions on our behalf that we weren’t able to articulate for ourselves made the process much more manageable. I was particularly struck by how Joe was able to bridge the gap between my wife and my preferences about a house. I am not sure we could have closed that gap as seamlessly without him.

We were able to meet him at a Davenport Group client appreciation event through friends who were recent clients and have already been invited to others. An added benefit of working with the team is that we were never out of luck on a showing on the very infrequent instances Joe was not available at the same time as us. We also got to work with Dhanushi Shah Patel and Courtney Mathison, who brought enthusiasm and expertise to our house hunt even in the short time we worked with them.

Ultimately, Joe’s personal connections and access to a listing agent under the TTR Sotheby’s umbrella got us in to see the house of our dreams and get an offer accepted before it even hit the market.
