Northeast DC is one of the four quadrants of Washington, D.C., bordered by the Anacostia River to the east and north, the Maryland state line to the northeast, and the other quadrants of DC to the south and west. The neighborhoods in this quadrant are diverse, ranging from residential areas such as Brookland and Woodridge to commercial and industrial areas like Ivy City and Brentwood.
Some notable attractions in Northeast DC include the National Arboretum, Union Market, Gallaudet University, and the H Street Corridor. The area also has several public transportation options, including multiple Metro stations and bus lines, making it relatively easy to get around the city.
